 Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Landing with family by his side at the age of 91.

 Bud is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Barbara Lawrence (Cary)

Predeceased by parents Mary Ellen Lawrence (Hares) and John Percy Lawrence

and sisters Reta Sinclair and Mern Parker.

Wonderful Father to Wendi Barker (Steve Hancock) and Judi Ferne (Don)

Greatly missed by Grandsons Kevin Barker and Scott Barker,

Granddaughters Kimberley Hanson (Andrew) and Katie Kerrigan (Dave)

and Great Grandsons Owen, Noah, Hugo and Jack.

Bud was born and raised in Huntsville, ON.

After graduating from Huntsville High School he joined the Navy where he served until 1945.

Upon his return, he moved to Toronto where he met and married Barbara

and they lived most of their married life in Oakville, ON and Brantford, ON.

until Bud’s retirement in 1987.

They returned to Huntsville where they built a lovely home on Bud’s beloved Rebecca Lake.

 Their last years together were spent in town before their final move to Muskoka Traditions.

At Bud’s request there will be no funeral service.

If desired donations may be made to Therapeutic Paws of Canada –

Bracebridge Chapter or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
