It is with deep sadness that the family
of Dorothy “Jerrie” Polk announce her passing on Thursday, July 20th, 2017
at the age of 85 years at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
Jerrie was the much loved wife of the late Howard Polk (1997) of 48 years.
They married on June 18, 1949 in Essex, Ontario.
Theirs was a true love story.
Jerrie, (Mom, Nana, GG) will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by her family,
daughters Merle McCaw (David) of Huntsville, Ontario
& Joanne Ernewein (Bill Howitt) of Toronto, Ontario.
Granddaughters Stephanie McFarlane (Jason) of Calgary, Alberta
and Jennifer Ernewein (Eric Sharma) of Toronto, Ontario
and grandson Daniel McCaw (Leah) of Oakville, Ontario.
Great granddaughters, Haley, Lauren & Ella McFarlane
and great grandson, Daniel McCaw.
A Celebration of Jerrie’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017
at Chartwell Traditions,
16 Legacy Lane
Huntsville, Ontario
from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
A private interment will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017
at Bethel Memorial Chapel Cemetery in Burlington, Ontario.
